Device Buyback Policy

Instructions and requirements for selling your device to Strictli.

Regional Eligibility

Currently, our device buyback and trade-in program is exclusive to customers residing in the United States. We do not accept buybacks or service trade-ins from customers in Canada, the United Kingdom (UK), or the European Union (EU) at this time.

Device Requirements
  • All devices must be unlocked for use with any carrier.
  • Devices must not contain any user information or cloud account data (e.g., iCloud, Google accounts must be removed).
  • Devices not meeting these criteria may be re-valued as "damaged or broken" or returned to you.
Packaging Instructions
  • Place iPhones, mobile phones, and small accessories securely in a padded envelope or appropriate shipping box.
  • Use bubble wrap to secure and protect the items from shifting or breaking.
  • Seal the package thoroughly with clear packing tape, ensuring the tape covers the shipping label to prevent damage or smudging during transit.
Shipping Details
  • Ship your package within 30 days to qualify for the offered payout amount.
  • Most packages are received at our facility within 3 business days, though carrier delivery times may vary.
  • Please track your package online for delivery updates.
  • You will receive an email notification from us as soon as we officially receive your item.
Inspection & Payment Process
  • Payment occurs only after we receive and thoroughly inspect your package to verify the device's condition.
  • You can monitor your payment status directly via your account page.
  • Expect to be contacted within 7 business days after delivery for payment processing.
  • If there are any issues with your payment method or the device, you will receive an email notification.
  • In case of incorrect device information or condition grading, a revised payout offer will be provided. If you decline the revised offer, you may opt to have the device returned to you using a prepaid shipping label provided by Strictli.
